Winter Percussion

Percussion students in Leo Bands participate in the competition with the Indiana Percussion Association during the winter months. Students prepare a “show,” much like Marching Band and Winter Guard, featuring a host of percussion instruments and developing a musical and aesthetic theme. Take a look their season: 

• In November, percussion staff will hold call-outs for winter percussion.
• From November through March, students will attend after-school practices and perform at weekend contests, culminating in competitions at the state level.
