Become a Sponsor
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Leo Bands Program sponsor. Sponsorship dollars reduce the financial impact on students participating in the band program as well as supplement the stipend the band program receives from the school district. These funds directly underwrite program needs such as instrument rentals and repairs, contest fees, transportation costs, and additional support staff and clinicians’ fees. Therefore, your partnership with the Leo Bands program as a sponsor is integral to its success.
Recently, your sponsorship mostly allowed us to purchase new marching band uniforms, which we debuted during the 2023 marching band season. After 19 years in the same uniforms, it was definitely time to replace them! The cost of the new uniforms was approximately $50,000 or $500 per uniform. The Leo High School administration generously matched the dollars raised for this project up to $25,000. Thank you!
However, we continue to rely on sponsor assistance now more than ever:
- New instruments: As with the uniforms, it has been more than 18 years since the band has purchased any new-to-the-band instruments.
- Semi-Trailer Restoration: It has been approximately 15 years since the purchase of the semi-trailer. It is time for an external restoration and resealing, such as painted or wrap.
